The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:
Rules
1. All posts must be relevant to Android devices/operating system.
2. Posts cannot be illegal or NSFW material.
3. No spam, self promotion, or upvote farming. Sources engaging in these behavior will be added to the Blacklist.
4. Non-whitelisted bots will be banned.
5. Engage respectfully: Harassment, flamebaiting, bad faith engagement, or agenda posting will result in your posts being removed. Excessive violations will result in temporary or permanent ban, depending on severity.
6. Memes are not allowed to be posts, but are allowed in the comments.
7. Posts from clickbait sources are heavily discouraged. Please de-clickbait titles if it needs to be submitted.
8. Submission statements of any length composed of your own thoughts inside the post text field are mandatory for any microblog posts, and are optional but recommended for article/image/video posts.

If you ever decide you want a less information dense display I use a launcher called Slate that is the opposite of what you're looking for currently.
There are a ton of copycats of this launcher style on F-Droid (and likely more that aren't). They don't fit my usage style whatsoever.
The biggest drawback for me is the sheer number of apps I have both for work and personal use. This style of launcher requires that I'm always able to think of the name of the app I want every time, as opposed to finding them in the category folders I've set up. Even those that support categorization would require me to search 2x & probably still scroll (whereas currently I can open the app drawer and immediately open the category folder I want from muscle memory). With my aging brain (Gen X, and a life not lived in a manner most healthy for my brain function), remembering every app name is just not happening.
