The bill runs roughshod over Charter protections against unreasonable search and seizure.

Which means anyone charged under this law, will have no problem getting those charges thrown out, in a court of law. So, bragging about being more "law and order" than the Conservatives, is pointless if you're breaking the law by trying to "enforce" this bill. This is all purely performative.
