Long before the Nazi salut... Uh... I think about 3 or 4 years before it, I had an argument about Musk with one of my brothers who really likes him.
At that time I had watched a few engineers do the math on all this achievements, only to find out he's hyping up mundane things that already exist.
But most distressingly, he was saying apartheid things, and critiquing the arrest of a fascist who provoked violence.
My brother wasn't convinced.
What surprised me most about the salut was that he did it publicly! Right there out in the open! But besides that it was a full fledged visual proof of what I had been saying already for years. Surely my brother would not be so stu-...
No, I was just on the hate bandwagon. Of course that wasn't a Nazi salut, I just want to see it as one because I enjoy hating Musk. Because hating Musk is the popular thing to do right now.

If you want to get technical, a Nazi Salute does not flat palm the heart, it's that sideways hand all the way through. And why does he flat palm his heart? Because he was thanking the audience from his heart. There's no need to lie about what happened, what happened is incredibly fucking stupid and make him look dumb as fuck on it's own

Did you actually watch a video of him doing it? He made sure there could be no mistake of what he was really doing. It was an act of defiance and he did it again facing the party insignia they had set up behind him to emphasize that point.
