Huh. Thats concerning if those kind of general searches about russian warcrimes are being suppressed. For reference, I remembered the bakhmut thing offhand so my search query for the article I linked was something super specific like "2023 bakhmut phosphorous"

Yeah, I'll have a look through my history and see how I phrased it, but it was something like "accusations of Russia using white phospherous or illegal weapons and war crimes" in a few different ways.

ai was useless (no surprises) but thought I would see if it spat out anything different anyway. They just asked me for reference links to feed them with. Which I obviously didn't have.

Weird, maybe too many words? I searched on DDG "russia white phosphorus" and it was nothing but claims about Russian use of it DuckDuckGo search feed displaying several articles from mainstream western sources discussing Russia's use of white phosphorus

I did get results for chemical weapons, Specifically chloropicrin, as it's in one of the links and their other heinous war crimes. I just didn't see any for white phospherous in particular. 🤷

I mean, space Karen has taken some obvious pro-rus actions. He has the money to make that happen. Not stating fact or causation, just making unkind speculation about pissant teakettle heeljerks.
