I was not comparing the wars for the wars. I was going to explain at the end, I ran out of time, but I naively thought it would be understood. I can only say what was in my head when I posted it. Or you did understand it, and approve of what's happening.

I am not (I thought obviously) condoning any war.

I'm not saying that one war is "better" or "worse" than any other war.

My main point (really, my only point) is that Starmers government compared the two and decided that one is bad and the other is good.

Despite all the atrocities that Israel do (which I was trying to accentuate in the post) - People are getting locked up as terrorists for agreeing with Palestine action.

in the UK we can be arrested for protesting against a genocide.

Well, yes. But afaik Starmers is the only one that you can get arrested and have it reclassified as a terrorist action and imprisoned for lengthy sentences. Or get arrested as a terrorist. But unlikely to happen due the exact same offence if protesting a different war.
