This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

It's clearly you who is delusional if you don't see these EU traitors are nothing but sell-outs destroying Europe for the US regime.
Maybe you were sleeping when the US terrorists blew up Nordstream and denied us cheap gas from Russia.
What did our EU 'leaders' do? Nothing.
On the contrary, they decide to buy 8x more expensive fracking gas from them.
And you can keep sticking your head in the sand and not see how that is destroying our competitivity and many companies close, fire workers and/or move.
And then the US regime start bombing Iranian schoolgirls unprovoked causing even more crisis for us.
And what is the reaction from our bootlickers? Sactions on the aggressor? No, they sanction Iran for defending themselves.
What did that embarrassing lapdog VDL say about this clear violation of international law? "Europe must accept the world as it is".
And worse, many EU countries even send ships in support.
Same as they keep supporting the genocide state despite their cheap empty words.
I bet you buy them too.

Member states have shifted substantial arms procurement away from the US, contrary to your claim too.

You offer zero sources for your faulty claims.
Again simply suckered by lying politician's words and 'intentions'.

So not so long ago, while we're already being bankrupted and these EU bastards were already stealing our pensions and social welfare money to throw in the bottomless corrupt pit that is Ukraine, the orange clown said we should pay even more for their wars. We already more than tripled imports. Europe now accounts for 33% of global arms imports.

Paying even more while we're already in shit was a bit too much to sell to the EU population.
Guess what happened then?
Trump does his little act as if EU is no longer friendly, some meaningless threats pulling out of NATO, posturing and talk about Greenland and suddenly the EU lapdogs now have an excuse to say we need to be 'independent' and buy more weapons.
Hey look, exactly what Trump wanted in the first place.
58% of all major weapons imported into Europe we buy from that warmongering country. 217% increase from 2024 to 2025.
That's really "moving away from the US" right?
Thank god the media is pushing the important achievements of independence like making our own Office software. That will show em!

Facts are the US regime is out of stock with all their illegal wars and now has effectively outsourced a big part of the anti-Russia effort and bill to us so they can concentrate on bombing brown kids in the middle-east or further antagonize China.

There are long term agreements and contracts making sure we still buy more US crap.
And guess what will happen in 2 years when Trump is gone?
Just like that we will be best friends again, and the temporary EU independent show can end. Of course we will have spent all those billions by then and we can use these arms to support their endless imperialist wars like we always have done.
Like good vassals.

But you can't even look ahead that far and have no grasp of geopolitics.
Keep buying the independent strong EU nonsense talk, and don't look at the devastating consequences for the population while living in your fantasy world. We're definitely not ruled by DC!

Wow, you are really into the full Russian narrative. Never mind that this mythical cheap resources from a regime that is openly waging a hybrid war against the rest of Europe, did not help Hungary at all in getting energy prices down, let alone keep inflation in check. Its way worse than in Poland which has done everything it could to get away from that "cheap energy". Those not falling for Russian propaganda are doubling down on the transition to renewable energies and the necessary infrastructure modifications needed to support it. The shift in the last 5 years has been very substantial and is already paying off during the price shock caused by the US regimes war against the Iranian regime.

But yeah both, the US and Russian regime support the identical parties in the EU, which are reliably acting against the national interests of their own countries and for the interest of their sponsors. Surprise, surprise.

The EU is massively investing in strategic autonomy, which of course cannot be achieved over night but there are very meaningful programs going on right now to get there. All of them are wildly opposed by people supporting your stance. Those programs also will not disappear when Trump is gone. Galileo is there to stay, so will be Iris2, European arms programs, improved coordination etc. Unless of course those parties sponsored by Russia manage to convince the majority of the voters. In that case those projects might be killed and we will enter the age of true national sovereignty ... for sure.
