Turns out the Meta AI app already has dormant code for facial recognition on it.

You don't have to build a surveillance state if everybody opts in on their own. Willingly collecting data by buying and wearing their product. These glasses will 100% be harvesting audio and visual data for Meta from the moment you switch them on. Never forget that FB was initially funded by the CIA, as was Google and Oracle.

Edit- and Palantir, obviously. The first investor besides Thiel was the CIA, and the CIA was their only client for the first few years

The people most fucked by it aren't necessarily the ones opting in and wearing the glasses though.

of course- i wasn't speaking strictly literally there. i'd wager you'd only need like 25% of people to participate for effectively total surveillance but that's just a guess
