You don't have to build a surveillance state if everybody opts in on their own. Willingly collecting data by buying and wearing their product. These glasses will 100% be harvesting audio and visual data for Meta from the moment you switch them on. Never forget that FB was initially funded by the CIA, as was Google and Oracle.

Edit- and Palantir, obviously. The first investor besides Thiel was the CIA, and the CIA was their only client for the first few years

of course- i wasn't speaking strictly literally there. i'd wager you'd only need like 25% of people to participate for effectively total surveillance but that's just a guess
