Amazon MGM could revisit Stargate with another showrunner — possibly someone without history with the existing franchise who would “give it a fresh perspective,” according to Deadline.

You won't want it.

They want the cw version, but they'll cancel it when nobody likes it and they'll say I guess no one wants stargate.

I agree with the sentiment, but Amazon owns the license outright since they bought MGM, so I wouldn't count on it.
