Not really sure what he means by the foreign-ness of the name. Unless it's in Choctaw or whatever, there aren't really any "American" surnames. The place is only a couple of hundred years old so there's no history. The house I grew up in is older than that.
Maybe rico being the last part of his last name could add an extra Hispanic accent. TalaRRRico
