The study, The Bright Side of Life: Optimism and Risk of Dementia, found that higher levels of optimism were linked with a decreased risk of dementia.

[...] there are several potential reasons for this: Optimistic people are likelier to exercise and practice other healthy behaviors, manage stress well, be cognitively engaged, and maintain strong social connections—all habits that can help protect brain health.

They also pointed out that optimism is not just an inborn trait; it can be learned and nurtured, even through simple practices like keeping a gratitude list

So, what have you been optimistic or grateful about recently?

it won't. it will just make the rich crack down harder on you and justify more crazy bullshit than they already do.

basic human psychology applies to rich people. when you threaten them, they double down on what they are already doing, they do not 'wake up'. by being hostile and violent towards them, they will only be more justified in their minds of abusing the non-rich.

So we get rid of them.
