Personally, I have no issue with people living with just the essentials, and although I can appreciate how other people decorate their flats, that would feel crowded to me very soon. Nothing wrong with being content with less.

it's subjective. one persons essentials are anothers luxuries, etc.

it's also just weird. i have had women be impressed i had nice curtains, but then also angry i don't have a $5000 couch. or like, impressed how clean and organized my kitchen is, but then angry my closet isn't organized as well.

and my closet isn't organized because i'm not in there hours a week, i'm in there like 30 seconds a day.
