Because that’s as far as Solomon ever expanded the borders.

This isn’t about land volume; it’s about specific access to specific land.

And that goes for the Palestinians too — they have olive groves that have been in the family for hundreds of years; their traditions and connection is to Palestine, not a specific volume of land.

Even the Christian and Jewish Zionists — they need control of specific land areas that are specified in the prophecies, with the goal of global annihilation and the building of the new Jerusalem in that particular physical location.

These three goals aren’t compatible with each other.

I seriously doubt that's the real reason for those making the decisions. It's just an easy explanation, and they'll come up with other excuses when they keep expanding their borders.

Millions have died over these religions, Jews, Christians, Muslims will all die over nothing tangible. Not all of them, but many. For them, it's the real reason.

They are often used by others, with their own, more secular reasons. For example, the USA wants control of the Middle East through a proxy state. So, they will use Jewish fundamentalists and their moderate "feeders" to do so.

Your doubts are irrelevant, as you're not a believer, are you? Sure, you can believe that Israel wants to own the entire continent or all of the Earth... but that's just your imagination.
