so, this kind of shit stirring happens regularly on the english speaking internet before US elections. I've become less and less convinced it's organic.

Oh so you've noticed the uptick in "don't vote" posts, too?

Joking aside, I remember that one economics professor (I went to a creepy religious university in Utah. You know the one) that took weird trips to Russia and always had the loud "voting is a waste of time because marginally only one vote matters and what are the odds of you being that marginal vote so don't waste your time" bullshit that really appeals to the underdeveloped libertarian mind. (whenever I asked him if he voted he said yes. Funny that) He works for a "think" tank that advises the Krasnov administration now.

I wish we could trick the elderly into not voting...

Hey, Gran was as reliable an anti republican vote as I am. Grenade Grampa not so much (we never called him that to his face) but he was very proud of his brain damage for some reason. Like he'd yell about it to the moon. No I have not made any of this up even the weird names are real my life is weird. That movie Big Fish is about people like me

My grandma was a staunch socialist but unfortunately an overwhelming majority of her peers vote(d) red

you're not entirely wrong
