What changed in me that made me go from hating surveying planets to absolutely loving it? (lemmy.world)

When the game first came out, I completely ignored surveying a planet because I thought it was boring. Now a couple years later, it's almost exclusively what I do in Starfield and I love it. What changed? Anybody else have this happen?
