Doesnt make the game any better, but some of these smaller things that people put actual effort into deserves some appreciation.

Bethesda seems to be planning an overhaul of Starfield, its latest RPG experience, that targets the game's space exploration and travel portion.

For now, I have refrained from going to this system. Is it better to sit until I'm higher level, or should I just go anyways? I'm not enjoying fighting enemies at a much higher level than I am.

I personally really like the terrormorph quests, but otherwise I haven't seen much of the game yet. So if you have any proposals, I'd be really happy to hear them!

With the April 2025 release of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, it feels like the era of Starfield is coming to an end. The latest original IP from Bethesda Game Studios, Starfield, got a considerably more lukewarm response than anyone could have predicted, and, at this point, it feels like Microsoft and Bethesda are trying to brush it under the rug. A rumored Starfield PS5 release was recently reinforced by a trusted insider, but after that, it seems like Bethesda's premiere space-exploration RPG will end up being grounded.

A Starfield PlayStation 5 port has been in the works for a long time, and according to one credible industry insider, it should be ready.

Starfield is in the top 3 Bethesda games for me. I know, I'm weird, let's not discuss it further. And even though I love the game, I can acknowledge that it has a pretty negative reputation. Some of it is deserved, a lot of it is also - i feel - is being hit by the online discourse, which isn't exclusive to Starfield at all.

I think it doesn't make financial sense to develop Starfield further. People don't seem as interested, modding is mostly via paid mods, this sub is all ship screenshots. The interest isn't there. Only time when people want to talk about Starfield is when they want, for umpteenth time, to express how disappointed they are.

This radio silence right now is, i feel, good indication. Bethesda sees it's not worth it loud and clear. They might release one more half-assed DLC, and then I feel they'll bow out. A shame, I would've liked to see this game prosper, but it just doesn't seem to be in the stars.
