On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.
If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

That post was mis worded so I appologize. If it upset you are something. No sarcasm in that. What I was wondering is why don't people own the choice or choices they make? I believe everything is a choice. I choose to drink and smoke. I choose to go to rehab. I choose to fall off the wagon so forth and so on. You or anyone can argue genetics, chemistry or peer pressure. But at one point that people don't like to admit that it all started with a simple choice. No one forces a person to drink or smoke. No one forces you to use the weight. Most addicts I ever talk to either blame peer pressure or so on. And the ones that are clean for six month a year or a couple years sober. Do not just come out and say I made the choice and I dealt with the reprecussions. But also a person should not be in rehab or getting on a wagon to begin with. Why show off your dumb chip? It was a bad choice, I made a bad choice to drink and smoke and I am happy with it. If I get "clean" (clean is another whole game) I am not going to put a notch in my belt for it. AA should just be I own the mistake I did and the trouble my one choice no matter how long ago effected others. Now if you just don't enjoy it or are afraid of it I understand that. They refuse to put themselves in the situation where they have to make a choice. I have been to plenty of parties and bars and stuff and been the DD (designated driver not drunk driver) So I can safely say I did'nt make that choice that time. Hell even if one is at a party they can ask for juice or at least water. Sorry getting on a tirade now and you don't deserve it this early in the day where I am at. Hope it made sense. But thank you for replying to my question every answer is a joy to read...no sarcasm in that.
