For all of Europe? That's definitely not "huge". Well, at least we're willing. At the same time I guess any more than that might have attracted Trump's negative attention and we don't won't that now, do we, Uschi?
500million is basically irrelevant.
So yes, they do something, but compared to the whole budget of research this doesn't make a dent.
Ir should be an order of magnitude greater than that. But it’s better than nothing.
