A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

If these people knew anything about American history, particularly the voting history of both parties, they wouldn't have the dipshit view of the situation that they do.
You mean like how both parties support the genocide of Palestinians? You mean like how the Iran war enjoys bipartisan support even if they sometimes hold meaningless votes to show opposition that doesn't translate to meaningful action against it (and they only hold those votes when they know it won't do anything)? Maybe you get fooled by the political theater, but not everyone is as impressed by the rattle shaking.
Yeah I'm not sure if they're Russian or republican but I'll believe they're progressive once my shit smells nice. They uncritically consume and repeat propaganda and deliberately misrepresent or outright lie about parties or government, and every time you call them out they pivot. Lemmy is like all the absolute worst reddit communities rolled into one basement dwelling chud.
