Nice! I totally agree, an MP3 player is a privacy-respecting move today. Respecting your attention span, too. I've been trying to avoid my phone as much as possible these days for those two reasons.

BTW there's !singlepurpose@lemmy.world for talking about this kind of thing. It's a small community, but I bet everyone there would love to see your iPod! :D
