I do agree, but I also believe that journalists need to be careful in how they do it, because these groups intentionally play to the media as a form of advertisement, legitimisation and image sanitisation, as per their own leaked guides.

100%. Booing on Anzac Day sets the media on a stance where the reporting usually frames it as a protest against the acknowledgment of country and therefore frames the story so that the viewer/reader/listener questions the legitimacy of the acknowledgment of country before questioning the legitimacy of the protest. Because no-one would dare to boo on Anzac Day unless there was really something to boo about.
The ABC at least have called it out this year. Maybe the tide will turn.
