They’re utilizing nostalgia. Mixing edgy themes like war imagery and the Epstein files with Lego is also fascinating. In a way a lot of us are fascinated by having their childhood be ruined. I am not sure why but it‘s definitely a thing people seek out.

It's minecraft level graphics instead of crysis level. Easier as bigger texture blocks than pixel level shading.
