I was looking for that album in the record store yesterday, to no avail. Used to have it back in the 90s but foolishly gave it away with the rest of my collection when I moved continents.
Such a good album!
It really sucks when you have to give up your records. It's especially painful for those grunge early pressings, because some of the analogue tapes got lost or people starting moving towards DAT or other formats. But, hey, there's a lot people out there bringing up these records back, it's just a matter of time before they make another badass pressing you can buy in stores.
Yeah, at the time CDs were the thing and I didn't expect to be able to get a new turntable easily, so I figured it was fine to give them up. Only 20 years later that the regret set in.
I got a decent haul on Saturday for record store day, but it's definitely going to take some time (and money holy crap) to build a collection again!
An all too familiar story. Some early CDs from these 90s bands are pretty good, though (before everything went to brickwall city), but IIRC I don't think Badmotorfinger's one of the better ones.
