Even if this wasn't Donald Trump specifically, half the allure of the "Government is covering up the aliens" is that it's a government cover-up. Why would anyone believe the folks who spent decades obscuring this information are going to just document dump it "very soon"?

What's the fun of a conspiracy if it's just headline news?
