We had a Bengal who saw the cancer doc for several years. Every time they saw her, the report said, "She was bright and alert today," which we knew was code for, "We're fortunate to have escaped with our lives."
Sorry to hear about the illness. Our boy has a note that he's friendly but panics when overhandled.
What's honestly funniest about the situation is that she never scratched or bit anyone; she was 100% bluster and 0% follow-through. It's just that her bluster was exceptionally convincing.
