She could be doing it to hurt her idiot husband. Her motivations don't have to be good. People (inadvertantly) do good things for bad reasons all the time.
Nah she's a scumbag. They married right for each other.
Scumbags can still dislike each other, and it's well known and obvious she hates him (witch what little she's able to feel).
