I try to give the most grace possible. I've only ever blocked two users here. That said, I'd totally understand why someone might block me.

Life is too short to deal with assholes and bots. They get blocked very quickly.

When I made this account, I went through the communities and blocked a lot of them. All sports, foreign languages, anime, and furries. All the content I know that I have no interest in.

being from reddit, i often block as soon as possible, and report alot. the latter burned my accounts, so i dont report here at all.

I don't recall reporting anyone on Lemmy. I do see users getting banned so either other users are reporting or the mods are very active.

Yeah I block communities pretty frequently because I sort by new. Usually porn.

ani.social is...weird. I block the entire instance.

ani.social is...weird

Yes. It's like they've never heard of tagging.

I block them to keep myself from posting the "if those kids could read" meme each time someone asks them to use tags.

Yes, I've blocked some people, but it's mostly communities.

Same. 28 users blocked. Far more communities in my list.
