- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Don't underestimate the Democratic establishment's ability to run godawful candidates. I think they actually believe they can run even worse candidates when the Republicans are unpopular
Yep. Dems have been running on, "but, but...but our candidate isn't republican" strategy for so long. And they still haven't changed.
And from some of the comments in this thread, they are supported in doing that. So they'll keep fucking it up. lol
I'll happily admit I'm wrong if they put AOC forward as pres candidate. If they don't put AOC in there, then I'll keep voting third party.

I mailed in my primary vote from overseas weeks ago. Other mail I've sent since has arrived with my family in that and another state. I voted for the progressive candidate that was anti-ice. We'll see just how fucked democracy is for those of us overseas voters

If you're not familiar with our politics then you don't know how right you are. The Democrats have a strategy of giving Republicans rope to hang themselves. The "adults" of the Democratic party are encouraging self-harm.

It's never 'no reason', getting the votes out is an essential part of being a politician in a democratic country. If voters don't connect with an otherwise good candidate, blame the politician, not the electorate.II think the campaign was bad and too invisible.
