The beatification of Trump shouldn't come as a surprise. During his four years in the Liberal Wilderness (you have to start building the mythology), there was a concerted effort to transform him into a Christian Prophet, which the media almost entirely ignored.

During the Biden years, Traitor General Michael Flynn organized a traveling road show of conservative/ evangelical speakers, called the ReAwaken America Tour, which I thought was a bizarre title, since that would make America "Woke," right? Anyway, I digress.

This tour featured speakers extolling the virtues of MAGA and White Christian Nationalism, with the common thread establishing Trump's religious plausibility. All of the MAGA All-Stars appeared at one time or another, but his daughter-in-law Lara, who he wasn't particularly fond of, was a regular. Her standard speech claimed that she was in direct daily contact with God himself, and he had explicitly told her that Trump was his chosen emissary to lead America into its White Christian Nationalist Future. She claims that God TOLD her that Trump was his personally anointed prophet, like Jesus himself.

If you're wondering what Trump thought about that, he later rewarded her with the co-chair of the RNC.

They basically were trying to establish him as a credible religious figure, the way the Apprentice established the myth of him being as a successful businessman. That was their post-Presidential plan, and if he hadn't won the presidency again, Plan B was creating a religion, and it looks like they're starting to dust off that plan again, in case he is forced to leave office in 2028.

The pivot to religion makes perfect sense. A political position can beg for money, but it is heavily regulated. A religion can beg for money from anyone, with no limits on amounts, sources, etc. Not only can they take whatever they want, from anyone they wanted, from anywhere they want, it's tax-exempt, and there are no requirement a to report ANYTHING, from donations to expenditures. It's the perfect operation for a money launderer, which has been Trump's primary business for years.

So when he's out of office, and facing corruption charges from every direction, expect them to play him as a martyr, being persecuted by the ANTIFA Atheists, comparing Trump to Jesus, and the judge to Pontius Pilate, in an attempt to intimidate the prosecution. You wouldn't prosecute JESUS would you?
