Too late Microslope. I am already one app away ending dual boot and after that, never again.
I haven't recovered my Windows partitiion for new space simply because I'm lazy. Haven't booted it in a long time now, haven' needed it. And the last time I did, it was so upset at me. I had a few things I was still using it for, one a game, but aftr not being active in it I went full Linux, and it's so much better. I get some people are still tied to things that aren't quite there for non-Windows, but it's becoming less and less.
I'm stuck with Windows possibly forever or until maybe Valve manages to create a way for kernel based anti cheat to work on Linux, and also because of Clip Studio Paint.
I heard it's possible, or at least an integrity check good enough that does basically the same thing, but not a rootkit. Anyway, turns out these companies just don't like Linux, and want root privileges to your system.
Is it really worth your privacy and freedom just to play Fortnite or whatever?
Which app? Does it have a FOSS/Linux alternative? Can it run through Proton/Wine?
Affinity Studio. I managed to run it in Fedora but it is glitchy and the performance after 2 hours of work is abysmal. I am testing the move to Figma and if it works, goodbye dual boot.
Not him, but for me it was iTunes to put pirated music on my phone.
I managed with virtualbox and a win 11 vm.
Sideload Sidestore+LiveContainer, install EeveeSpotifyReborn, music solved unless you’ve got extremely eclectic tastes.
They’re pretty eclectic yeah.
