I've noticed translations getting worse and worse on the internet for decades. First people hired someone to translate, and it was mostly good. Then came the automated translations, and it was ok (some weird errors but understandable). Now it's all AI and the translations are incomprehensible, and they change a lot between visits. Do people leave an AI running to translate their websites live or some dumb shit like that?

AI translations get worse when you consider that they get put right into the page so you're more likely to assume it's accurate than, say, Google translate or browser translation where it's obvious a computer did it
