Nudity alone - without the intent to shock or arouse - shouldn't be taboo, criminal, or censored.

Disagree. Underpants are a minimum for public transport and seating.
Towel. The etiquette when visiting a clothing-optional setting is to bring a towel to sit on.
I'm with you on paper, but couldn't deal with a naked crowded subway car.
I mean I'm sure you could deal with one or two people. And if there's 50, then you have become the weird one and I guess you have to suck it up. As it were.
Oh, sorry, I was imagining EVERYBODY naked and a really crowded train. I see why that's dumb now, but it's more entertaining to imagine.
"There should be mandatory nudity in public" is a pretty controversial opinion. But you got me on board. Lets do it.

Yes, I guess I was secretly a nudist extremist deep-down without realizing it. I admit I do hate clothes.
I don’t fundamentally disagree with the principle, but it’s easier to police malignant behavior if nudity is confined to limited social spaces (eg. beaches, gyms, saunas, ect…)
Otherwise you give creepos the ability to ruin random public spaces randomly with very little enforcement potential - but I guess it depends on what of the two restricted scenarios is the lesser evil.
I am somewhat ambivalent FWIW
