MAGA would use the same tactics you use replacing the word "Russian" for "Mexican". Not sure how racism helps.

Your comment implied American. Dragged “us”.

[–] JackbyDev@programming.dev 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

They never said "us", the person they were replying to did.

Sorry, you're right. The us is still inferred, but I am also not American and feel affected and shocked by American politics.

[–] JackbyDev@programming.dev 1 points 3 days ago

You inferred it, but they didn't insinuate it.

[–] vivalapivo@lemmy.today 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I didn't imply it and I sincerely fail to see how my remark on your beloved democrats is relevant to my ethnicity or nationality

[–] hitmyspot@aussie.zone 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I'm not American either, but it's pretty relevant when you're in a proxy war with the country you are criticizing.

[–] vivalapivo@lemmy.today 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Am I in a proxy war? Wtf I'm not aware of it

[–] wonderingwanderer@sopuli.xyz 3 points 3 days ago

That depends on whether you consider the russian imperialist invasion of a neighboring sovereign nation (Ukraine) to be a proxy war with the US and Western Europe
