Mine has to be the Phillies. Even though they sucked in recent years, I still love my Phillies and I hope they reach the playoffs and win it all in these next few years!

"The San Francisco Giants looked destined for a quiet one-run loss after a hard battle against one of baseball’s better starters in Hunter Greene.

They came into the ninth inning down a run and turned it into a three-run lead."

A few years ago I started watching cricket to help me get through October-Febuary. It is still the time I watch most but I ended up being interested enough to watch a various matches year-round.

If you'd like to consider it I recommend starting with this Youtube vid Cricket For Baseball Fans.

If that interests you enough I recommend checking out the Bangeledesh Preimer Leauge (BPL) which has its sem-final and final this week. The BPL is a T20 Leauge. T20 is a newer more popular variantion of the sport where games last about 3 hours like a baseball game. This is compared to the more traditional "Test Match" you may have heard of where a game usually lasts 5 days with ~8 hours of play a day, including breaks for lunch and tea.

Rabbit Hole BD Sports streams Bangeldesh circket live on YouTube, being region blocked such that countries that a broadcaster owns the rights, like Bangledesh and India, can't watch.

Semi-Final (What they call 'Qualifer 2') starts Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. (New York/ET) while the final is Saturday at 8:00 a.m. (New York/ET). Rabbit Hole will stream live, I don't quite understand why they don't keep them for on-demand, particular for a global game, but they do put up highlights sometime after. Cricket Highlights almost always are ~20 minutes and give a pretty good overview of the game. The best bet I've found for on-demand full cricket games in the States is just hoping that someon kind soul uploads a match to 720.ru, but that's a crap shoot at best for cricket. ESPN+ used to have a lot, which is how I got started watching, but the cricket-specific satelite channel "Willow" seems to have outbid them for most competitons.

The Wild Card (Eliminator) and the other semi (Qualifer 1), can be found on Rabbit Hole if you want a bit of a background before the finals.

Dodgers beat the Yankees 4-2 as the series shifts to Yankee Stadium.

Are the Yankees in desperation mode yet? Judge doesn’t look good at the plate.

Will it truly be Yankees vs Dodgers in the World Series? Again?

Yankees vs Dodgers is the most common World Series matchup with 11 WS meetings between them.

This was thrown up to us today by Clark at the Cubs game as part of the fan appreciation weekend.

Does anyone recognize the autograph?

Disappointing, but I get why they're doing it.

"As the ninth inning drew to a close at San Francisco’s Oracle Park on a recent afternoon, the mood in the stands was dour — the Giants were losing to the White Sox. But in the skies above the stadium, the real game was just getting started.

California and Western gulls glided overhead, scouting the bleachers for garlic fries and ketchup-smeared hot dog buns. The gulls soared steadily by the dozens as the bleachers emptied. Soon, the birds were left alone to engulf any leftover food they could find."
