KVME-TV was one of the many stations across the country to debut the brand new WEST TV Channel yesterday September 29 2025. Unfortunately, WEST is replacing the Heroes and Icons feed and now the channel is no longer available over the air in Bishop. The change also happened on KVME's feed on DirecTV and Dish, and on its sister station in Los Angeles, KSFV-CD 27.2.

I was driving to work as usual, around 5am this morning, and saw this fire up on Wheeler Crest. I'm assuming lightning fire, since it's high up on the ridge, and there are no trails anywhere near where the fire is. Hopefully it'll just burn itself out soon...
