Has anyone tried the Watchdog series on the steam deck? How does it run?

Is anyone using deck as PC ? Opening Firefox seems very detrimental. Running top shows CPU uses almost/beyond 100%. Generally for 2 processes Firefox and Isolated Web Co. Is there some kind of workaround? Or would it be better to just install normal Linux (instead of SteamOS)?

I was suggested to use AutoFS but Steam Deck doesn't have AutoFS installed and changing fstab is not sticking after reboot. If there is option to enable mounting NFS without enabling RW.

And many more work out of the box, just not officially verified.

At this point it's probably safe to assume that all games work with Linux, unless some crazy anti cheat or DRM explicitly bans Linux users.

Hi all. Due to parts shortages and COVID closures at our manufacturing facilities, the official Steam Deck Docking Station is delayed. We're working on improving the situation and will share more info when we have it. This has no effect on production schedule and reservation windows for Steam Decks (different parts, different factories).

I watched the official video on YouTube, until Nintendo took it down when I came back to it. To try the tutorial. So recently I came across this mirror and thought I should share as others probably are interested

I realize I'm in the minority here but I use my Switch docked 95% of the time. I'd likely do the same with a Deck. Compared to a PS5 or Xbox, which is going to be more fun?

Elden Ring runs better on Linux thanks to Valve pre-caching shaders on first launch, while Windows users have to suffer through stuttering and poor DX12 performance. Pretty wild!

It also has Proton-specific fixes that help performance, such as https://github.com/HansKristian-Work/vkd3d-proton/commit/54fbadcc9405841cc018210ba6d1045e71f405c0 . Thanks, Valve!
