Live2D Mayuri looks great, but the time leap animation looks looks it came out of a 90s cartoon.
Hopefully, the final version takes notes from what the anime did right.

I think it's possible, but most likely it's because that's such an unusual position (knee on knee is uncomfortable).
More often, you'd have some overlap.
Scrolling past this image again, the fabric folds on the shirt are really impressive, especially around the buttons.
