Hey, Trekkies more or less invented the concept of having a convention dedicated to a specific piece of media. We reach.

I don’t think I caught that! I’ll have to keep my eyes out whenever I do a rewatch.

Not quite, but I played this variation of the same concept. Good times.

I wish I could say I’d check it out, but my To Be Read pile is a little intimidating… maybe one day.

The Conspiracy aliens. We’ve been waiting… so long…..

Or the ones from Schisms.

She can tolerate anything except bigots and Mexicans.

The first starfleet captain, yes. Season 3's Romulan commander counts for something!

Quark went ahead and filed that complaint about his anti-Ferengi remarks just before Voyager went MIA. Janeway takes bigotry very seriously.

Ah, well, I can’t argue with the transporter chief ~~if I don’t want to be pattern buffered~~!

Of course. You think a weapon is just going to discharge by accident in Data’s precision grip?

I’ve been anticipating a twist with her character for the whole season. We never saw the crime she was accused of. We only saw her with her six old son, or playing to the sympathies of the authorities. There’s no reason to be convinced that she was as innocent in the matter as she pretended to be.

Yeah, I feel like Michael’s arc somehow went completely many people’s heads. She’s not emotionally volatile for no reason. She’s relearning to process her emotions after their development was arrested by ill-advised Vulcan parenting before she had a chance to process her grief.

There were examples of bad writing to be found in Discovery (as in every other Trek), but Micheal being an emotional wreck wasn’t one of them.

Not actually here to hate on a show I haven't seen yet. Just a silly meme to remind everyone of the awesome '90s Marvel Comics series.

I can safely say it peaked when our cadets stole a runabout to fly to Talos IV and join forces with Christopher Pike in fighting off a Jem'Hadar invasion -- which led to a line-wide crossover with the TNG and DS9 crews getting involved to combat the Dominion's ultimate plan to wipe out all telepathic races in the Alpha quadrant.

Good times.
