As far as I understand, they already are sharing it:
The database is currently hosted on GitHub and only Bitwarden engineers are capable of adding entries. Your extension’s copy of the database is stored locally and your extension sends no data to Bitwarden or GitHub on usage.

So, if I can choose between a company that fucks me over with their search ranking, sells my data and still tries to present me bought ads as actual results, and is required to provide all this information to a corrupt goverment; versus a company that minimizes the amount of collected data, so they don't have to hand over so many information while being supoenad, I choose the 2nd option
Probably not youtube, because in a truly open market with socialist rules, youtube would have fallen with its constant enshittification and be replaced with a more user/creater friendly alternative.

That's the theory...I usually have to first replace some packages that have been removed / renamed then homemanager is acting up because some stuff now is called differently. And every time it just shows me the one error that failed...

One can argue if the swiss goverment should have honired the MLAT request...unfortunately, that thing was put in place before the USA whent insane, and most countries do honor agreements they sign
It's not false advertising. Just because a company advertises with privacy, it doesn't mean they are bullet prove.
they don't sell your data, they actually have very little data to share at all, but they do follow the swiss law.

The mail is encrypted, so probably not, but they have an extensive privacy policy and some blog entries, against which threats they can protect you, which they can't
