I imagine there's a clause in the contract that he gets paid in full if they cancel him, but only a small %age if they cancel the whole thing.

This is Holly Valance's ex-husband. I wonder if this was one of the contributing factors. Mind you, she's now a Tommy Robinson fan, so she clearly has great taste in men.
