You may know that, but this @pltyh is a pro-China propaganda parrot constantly spreading narratives that play down China's atrocities. They also think that tankies are "well-informed" and if they are cheering on violence - such as Russia against Ukraine - it is a "different opinion". Save you breathe I would say. There's no meaningful discussion possible.

... their russian allies ...
Don't forget the far-right's Chinese allies ...
The entire industry is in crisis, not just Volkswagen. In China, which promotes itself as the future EV market, only 3 of its 129 car brands are profitable (BYD, Xiaomi, Leapmotor), and all three of them show shrinking profits. This is despite Chinese brands benefiting from tremendous subsidy regulations that have never been available for their global competitors, a cheap workforce through forced labour regimes, which allows them to produce massive overcapacity that Chinese brands then need to sell globally due to a shrinking domestic Chinese market. This overcapacity is a decisive reason for the entire sector's crisis imo.
I re-post this here with a slightly different headline as the deletion is supposedly a mistake. The article is exclusively about European citizens.
Among the most prominent figures regarding Chinese interference and the European far-right imho is Alice Weidel, the current leader of the far-right AfD in Germany. Weidel, who studied and lived in China and is fluent in Chinese, has been secretly meeting with then Chinese ambassador to Germany, Wu Keng, between 2019 and 2024. Weidel reportedly admitted these meetings. She said that after the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine - which happened in February 2022 - she wanted to get an idea of the Chinese position.
It is not known whether or not similar meetings are still taking place.
Edit: An interesting view maybe,
Marriage of Convenience: How European Far-Right and Far-Left Discovered China
European far-right and far-left political parties, though ideologically opposed, are finding common ground in their alignments with China, echoing Beijing’s narratives and raising concerns about foreign influence and manipulation.
It's a good analysis that provides a lot of facts and insight in my opinion.

A quick reminder that Russia's attack on Europe is decisively supported by China.
This is Chinese-Russian propaganda whataboutism.
China helps Russia upgrade Shaheds into a new threat for Ukraine.
China of aiding Russia with satellite intelligence during deadly drone strikes.
And so the stories goes on.
Russia is waging a war against Europe, and China is its decisively supporting this. These are two dictatorships against Europe.
As you openly say that tankies are 'well-informed', and who says that tankies cheering on authoritarian regimes like China and Russia's violent actions is just a "different opinion", you certainly have a very weird view of things. It's waste of time to discuss this with you.
A quick reminder that China is a decisive enabler of Russia's war in Ukraine with Xi Jinping having repeatedly reaffirmed the “ironclad friendship” between China and Russia.
Yes, I know, but China has also said to increase fossil fuels by 2030 (by 8-10%) in its current five-year plan. Coal will not peak before the end of the decade, and no one knows what happens then. China isn't on a good path.
They support Russia in this war to weaken Europe (and Russia). China is a decisive supporter for Russia for a lot more than business.
In 2023, for example, Lu Shaye, then Chinese ambassador to France, publicly said that former Soviet-states such as Ukraine have "no effective status as sovereign countries". The same ambassador is today China's special envoy for Europe.
There is a long list of Chinese support activities for Russia that go far beyond economic issues.
