The settings are documented in the Hyprland Wiki much depends on the hardware you’re using. Monitor/GPU you should find similar settings in KDE.

I don’t think my config will help you much

Might be related to colour management settings in your DE. I use a few config settings related to colour management in Hyprland. If those aren’t set then I get similar results to you

Where did the weird thumbnail come from?

For me the only way to get hdr in hunt is using Proton-GE and to launch with the following commands

PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 %command%

Downside is you can’t use the overlay, game recording or invite players

If you have a 9070xt also add PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1

I’ve been experimenting with the FSR4 setting which are supported in Mesa-GIT for my 9070xt

I tried it out. Definitely fixed the issue I was having in the menu with selecting gear. Performance seemed ok too. I had jittering on 10-13 which seems to be gone now

My launch commands

PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 DXVK_HDR=1 mangohud %command%

Yeah rolling back to 10-12 sorted that. Hopefully this does too
