@blind3rdeye
We have a bunch of reusable lightweight fabric bags, they're great for veggie shopping. Actually more convenient than the single use plastic, because they're easy to open and close, and you can hold a bunch of them by the drawstrings.

If the bike is speed limited and the power tapers off with speed, why have a power cap at all? More power just means that they get up to speed quicker, which is a good thing in traffic, particularly when loaded up.
I go quite a bit faster (on the flat) on my acoustic bike, are they proposing a ban on me pedaling too hard?

@FreedomAdvocate
Oh, and your made-up "facts" about housing supply are also from the "they come here and take our jobs" school of economics, and it is simply not true. In the past 10 years Australia's population has increased by 16%, but the supply of housing has increased by 19%. We're building housing faster than we're growing the population.
You're ignoring the evidence and promoting misinformation about migrants. Tell me again how you're not a fucking racist.

@FreedomAdvocate
So somehow you believe the bit where decreased supply in the labour market leads to higher wages, but not that it means that there is a, you know, decrease in the number of workers? Much smart, very genius.
Tell me more about your economics insights that show their modeling is wrong. We all stand to learn here, given that your PhD obviously comes from the University of Vibes, Man.

@FreedomAdvocate
Sorry, can you point out the part of the article where it says that 'there will be “less workers to build houses” lol'. Your reading comprehension is as bad as your grasp of economics. Yes wages would be higher but inflation would negate any benefits to the workers.
Your claim that migrants worsen the housing crisis is not based on evidence, because the actual evidence says the opposite is true. And given the way you double down in spite of that seems a lot like it's a made-up justification for your xenophobia. Walks like a bigot, quacks like a bigot.
