I'm a queer librarian. I'm on a list somewhere.

I'm team quick shower or long bath (soaking my sore back is lovely). I had a roommate with undiagnosed narcolepsy that would fall asleep in the shower in college. She didn't lock the door and we had standing orders to just wake her up if we needed the shower.

My partner takes forever to brush out his lovely, long, curly hair. He also leaves a tribble and a half in the hair catcher.

Maybe sexual and gender minorities (SGM)? I think I've seen that one in academic papers.

I have a terrier with a history of mouse murder, but he's not doing jack against the mice in our creepy attic with exposed fiberglass.

I have a Bambu 3d printer. Can confirm, the comparison is apt.

I've heard you can minimize risk by having multiple fitted sheets on your bed at once. Just strip off the top sheet, add to laundry hamper, sleep on the newly revealed clean sheet.

I don't do that because I don't use sheets. I sleep in a hammock and just swap between two hammocks when they need washing.

Re: tumbling classes I think I got similar benefits from being bad at roller skating as a kid. I learned to fall gracefully and often, and tuck your hands close to your body so no one runs over your fingers.

That's my partner. I just shop hungry and ask him to check the refrigerator for me while I'm out.

We also have a shared grocery app, which works nicely.

As soon as my PCOS got treated (metformin) I lost 20 pounds. Looking back, it should have been caught decades ago. It pisses me off how much "you just need diet and exercise!" bullshit I swallowed when all I needed to do to lose weight was take a stupid pill to treat the underlying condition.

Caveat: I believe treating the underlying condition has had a bigger impact on my health than weight loss.

I never stopped.

My new boss and I had a similar conversation. We're both unsettled by the current political environment and eyeing escape routes. She has citizenship prospects elsewhere and I, sadly, don't. Like, we both love what we do, but shit's scary.

I've seen some cute temporary tattoos meant for fingers. You could also get a silicone ring and see if you could transfer to chewing that. (I tried a silicone bracelet, but hated typing while wearing it)
