I guess the idea is that people buy new cars more often than they need to, but with EV being more expensive more people will wait longer before replacing their car. Which doesn't seem horrible to me.

Funny but also sad that politicians are still using Twitter after it was taken over by a Nazi.

This will give EU finance ministers a say on whether a digital currency is issued and how many such euros each resident will be able to hold, which is seen as crucial for assuaging fears of a run on bank deposits.

I mean, I would love to close my bank account and stop giving those blood sucking ghouls fees for the privilege of them holding my money.

We should not be afraid of bank deposits going away. The fact that we have to use private companies to work with money now is a failure of our governments.

The human brain has different ways of understanding the world around it at different ages. For example, teenagers are much more likely to take risks:

Similar differences appear in impulse control.

Several recent Republicans running for US President were born outside of the USA, but still US citizens from birth. So logically one would assume that as long as you were a US citizen from birth you could be US President.

However, the Constitution says "natural born citizen" without explaining what that means.

My guess is that the current Supreme Court would come up with whatever ruling supported MAGA wishes and release it without explanation in the middle of the night on the weekend, as has become their custom.

Except in the USA there are only two parties and the party in power would basically never declare no confidence.
