B contains mostly lower population areas in the US and Canada, if you go with B you're almost definitely gonna be in Mexico.
A is interesting, you have a good chance of being in the US/Canada or western Europe, but it also contains a fair portion of heavily populated areas in western Africa that might not be ideal.
America isn't just a government, or a place, or some undefinable concept. It's people. Roughly 340 million people. Men, women, children, the elderly. Mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, coworkers, friends.
What happens if society collapses? People lose their livelihoods. They lose their homes. They lose their healthcare. They get sick, hungry, desperate. They suffer. They die.
I know the country is in a bad place right now. But lots of countries have suffered through difficult spells and gradually improved, typically without a societal collapse. Fighting evil with evil - mass suffering and death of countless innocent people - is not the answer.
