Becky Pringle, the president of the National Education Association, a major labor group, warned in a statement Tuesday that Trump's coming order would hurt students and families, especially in vulnerable populations.

Team Trump: SWEET! That's the idea! They finally get it!

If other countries want to get serious about fighting back they need to announce they're dropping out of the Berne Convention.

That treaty benefits the US more than anyone else and especially not small countries. The only reason why small countries signed on to it in the first place is because of things like USAID and avoiding tariffs!

If the US is ending USAID and putting tariffs on fucking everything then why TF would these countries continue to protect US copyrights basically forever.

I was surprised as heck that Columbia bent over and didn't just announce that they're dropping out and will start hosting the biggest "pirate" website ever where they only honor the first 15 years of copyright.

Great: More high fructose corn syrup as a substitute in everything 🤷

Poison is medicine if the dose is right. How do they not know this‽

Oh wait: They celebrate idiocy and anti-intellectualism! Ignorance is their status quo!

So what they're saying is that Canada can win this fight if they've got good aim and a minimal arsenal of tools at their disposal. Got it.

If anyone needs proof that conservatives are so befuddled by reality they'll just make shit up to fit a convenient narrative this story is it. They're blaming a living transgendered pilot for a helicopter/plane crash that had no survivors.

This story is definitive proof that the reason why Donald Trump won the election is because many Americans are so fucking unbelievably stupid they can't tell the difference between a living person and a pile of ash and debris. They'll believe fucking anything if it fits the narrative in their head or it's said by their sacred, worshipped authority figure.

Hah! The presidency sure does provide a lot of power but he's about to find out just where that ends. If 800,000 workers go on strike he and his cronies won't be able to exist in their rich person bubbles.

The runways will be closed. The borders won't let them in or out. Public transport everywhere will stop functioning. The banks will be forced to stop letting them send money due to laws regarding transaction reporting that go through Federal union employees (I mean, I guess they could try to live their rich person lives with nothing but transactions under $10,000 🤷).

Just about everything going on in the US from a logistics and economic perspective relies on the work of Federal union employees. They don't even need to go on strike (which would technically be illegal but if Trump doesn't need to follow the law why should federal employees‽). They could just reduce everything to a crawl and it would have the same effect.

It's a 5.25" slot cover, duh! You've got three of them.

(Plus a hard drive with a vent, a 3.5-to-5.25" floppy adapter/bay drive, and a 5.25" floppy drive)

Endless suffering. Which, surprisingly, is what conservatives want.

(Just not for themselves... It's just so hard to make policies that only target the people they hate! Why must reality be so unlike their fantasies of how the world works‽)
