A parte che anche nell’articolo del SCMP si parla di 10 arresti, ma se non leggi difficilmente lo trovi.
Forse vedi un teso diverso da quello che vedo io?
Nel testo che ho letto io (riportato qui sotto) si parla di un numero elevato e imprecisato di casi ("dozens", "more than 50") e non specificamente di 10.

La "fonte" (lgbtqnation.com, che titola "10 arrested" e poi nel testo dell'articolo scrive "at least 10 people have been sentenced") a sua volta linka come fonte un articolo del South China Morning Post, dove però non si parla di 10 arresti e invece si chiarisce un pochino la questione:

Detto questo, non è che io volessi mettere in dubbio che in Cina abbiano potuto arrestare 10 persone (semmai sarebbe una notizia che ne abbiano arrestate soltanto dieci!)... in sostanza volevo solo dire a OP di non condividere articoli scritti col culo.
