they meant gender, I think 🤔

The main part was back loop single crochet, though I think in hindsight back loop hdc might have looked better !

The slip stitches for the cuffs are pretty bearable as long as you keep them super loose.

And thanks! ^^ I've only been crocheting for like 2 or 3 months, the improvisation is just because I'm very adamant in taking the beginner privilege of fucking around to learn haha

Haha thanks! I'm definitely keeping an open mind to extending the sweater if I ever come across the right yarn again haha

Thanks!! I'm not good with instructions, so the whole thing was just kinda winged haha. I've jotted down a quick sketch of what I remember for you though, hope it's clear enough!

Ah, makes sense. Guess it just depends on what you're familiar with. I'd interpret "Alpine Meadow" as either a meadow in the Alps, or as a meadow that looks like a meadow in the Alps lol

I have never seen a situation where buying a phone from a carrier is worth it. Is buying the phone you want separately not an option for you?

My phone bill (unlimited calls/ 12GB mobile data) is 7€ a month. So even 89$ a month seems really extreme imo.

I should be long asleep but an artist I've been following for a while released some new songs and i had to doodle while listening to all of them 💓

You can take the sweater off when you're not sleeping, but it has to be on at night no matter the temperature.

I think I would demand like 200k, just for the discomfort from the scratchiness. I already sleep with a winter blanket all year round so I wouldn't mind how warm it would get.

(by that I mean she's very much in blue rn)

I only messed with her for a second as I had to take her out to moisten the moss in her warm hide. Gotta get that clean shed haha

y'all have probably all long known this, but it's kinda blowing my mind right now so I wanted to share 🤯 the way they drape is also worlds apart:

the yarn used:

I'm getting tested in a bit over two weeks and today was the pre-exam via video call.

The assistant dude that did the interview asked how fiddly/hyperactive I see myself as, and I was like "eh, a bit but not that far above average" Apparently I had been rotating back and forth in my desk chair for the entirety of the preceding 10 mins, which he did point out :|

Apparently it's also not called "Girl math", but "Impulsive over-spending". SMH my head

On an upside though, he also owns reptiles and was happy to indulge an unreasonable amount of questions about his chameleon!!

He is really into Lego Rock Raiders so I wanted to make something that kinda references it, but is still subtle enough to wear to work :D

This was my first time steam blocking Acrylic Yarn, it makes such a difference!!! The finished scarf got super soft and flowy, none of that creaky stiff crochet feeling left haha

It's been getting colder around here, so I'm not super comfortable with letting Revy roam around on the cold floor anymore. Instead, I let her hang out on my plant shelf yesterday while spot-cleaning. Because of the grow-lights, the floors of the shelves get up to 40°C in the center - which is very much on the upper end of acceptable basking surface temps, but I'm okay with allowing it for 10-20mins.

And man does she seem into it! She curled up in a cozy spot after exploring the shelf, and when I put her on her perch to go back into her enclosure, she instead scooted right back to the plant shelf instead. I had to actually put her back straight into her enclosure after that, which I don't enjoy doing because it does take away agency, but I had places to be and couldn't leave her on the shelf unsupervised 🥲

In the evening, she was very adamant about being let out, and when I did she crawled right back to the plant shelf and from there to the floor. I kept putting her on her "go back home" perch and she kept insisting on going to the shelf instead, so again I had to put her back straight into the enclosure when I needed to head to sleep.. Revy spent the rest of the night sulking in front of the door lol
