I was watching LTT's video on the Frame today and he was at valve and said the same thing

I couldn't have been 7 or 8, when I found lemmings installed on a community Win 98 machine. Definitely going to install the demo and check it out.

My understanding is that Doom can run on any device because it is written in C. So any game written in C could be compiled to run on your target device.
