Your reuters link says 2024-12-03 and nyt link says, 2024-12-04 which explains why nyt has a higher number.

What's an Ohio? That the name of a city or smth?

If so, ofc it's missing. This map only has capital cities and 5 random ones for some reason. Doesn't even have Chicago or NYC.
